Warm-up:  Write a reflection about how satisfied you are with your essay so far.  What do you still need to change and do to make it better?


Classwork:  Guidance presentation; Conclusion station (write a reflection about what type of conclusion would work best for your essay and list ideas of what you will add),  peer editing and review (use checklist)

Directions for final draft:
Format:

a) Typed, double spaced, 12 point font (NOT bold) – your font should look like the font on this page (Times New Roman)

b) Name, period and date in upper right hand corner

c) Skip one line, then original title centered – not underlined, italicized or in quotes

d) Skip two lines, then begin your essay.  Indent all paragraphs 5 spaces or one tab.

e) Do not skip lines between paragraphs

Homework:  Final Draft due Monday

I will collect 2 packets:
1.  Final draft with rubric and visual artifact
2.  Rough draft with stations (SEXI, Intros, sample essays, revised body using 5 to 8 models, conclusion)
