Thursday: Carefully read Thoreau's "Where I Lived and What I Lived for on pg 276-281 of LOC. On loose-leaf paper, write a paraphrase of each paragraph. Make sure that you clarify the main ideas and meaning. Turn in paraphrase to substitute at the end of class.
Friday: Complete Discussion questions 1, 3 & 6 on LOC pg 281 and rhetoric and style questions 1 through 9 and #12 on LOC pg 281-2. (13 questions total) Turn these questions into substitute by the end of class.
Homework: Due Monday - Read "In Search of the Good Family" on LOC pg 283-8 and complete questions 1-8 on pg 288-9.
Also, complete SAT registration if you haven't already.
