Warm-up:  Write a reflection about your book.  What did you like/dislike?  Why is this book on the list? Who would you recommend it to?  Why?  What did you learn about non-fiction and language by reading this book?

Classwork:  quiz on Professions for Women, discuss independent books and create thesis statements, reasons, and find support from the book for each of 4 questions relating to the book.

Homework:  Prepare for synthesis essay tomorrow
